Each visa type has specific requirements and benefits, so choose the one that aligns with your goals and plans in Australia. Here are the various types of visas you can apply for:
- Used when you are enrolled as a student in Australia.
- Valid according to the duration of your study (e.g., if you are taking a 2-year program, the visa will be valid for 2 years).
- Fees: Approximately 16,000,000 IDR (note that the price of the visa may vary depending on changes from the embassy).
- You are eligible to work part-time for 48 hours per 2 weeks.
- Processing time: 1-2 months (can vary depending on the embassy).
- You can travel in and out of the country without limitations as long as your visa is valid.
- If you are finishing your study in Australia for a minimum duration of 2 years and the course is registered in CRICOS, you are eligible to apply for a Temporary Graduate Visa (TR).
- This visa will allow you to stay in Australia for up to 2 years, and you can find a full-time job.
- The maximum age to get this visa is 35 years old.
- Fees are approximately 20 million Rupiahs.
- You can travel in and out of the country without limitations as long as your visa is valid.
- This visa is only valid for candidates who are invited to work in Australia.
- No sponsor or nominator is required.
- The maximum age is 45 years old.
- Fees are approximately 48 million Rupiahs.
- You can stay as long as the visa is valid.
- This visa is valid for candidates who have an occupation on the relevant skilled list and/or have a suitable skills assessment for the occupation.
- You must have a sponsor/nominator from Australia.
- You can sponsor eligible relatives for Permanent Residence (PR), or if eligible, you can also become an Australian Citizen.
- Fees are approximately 48 million Rupiahs.
- You can stay as long as the visa is valid.
- You can only get this visa if you are nominated by a state/territory government agency or an eligible relative who has sponsored you.
- You must possess relevant skills/occupations that are stated on the list.
- You have to pass a suitable skills assessment for the occupation.
- Valid for up to 5 years.
- You can only live in designated regional areas of Australia.
- Free to travel in and out as long as the visa is valid.
- Eligibility to apply for Permanent Residence after 3 years from the time your visa is granted.
- Fees are approximately 48 million Rupiahs.
- You have to be the spouse or de facto partner of an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or Eligible New Zealand Citizen.
- The spouse/partner has to sponsor you.
- You can only apply for this visa if you are in Australia.
- You can live and work in Australia with this visa (study only in certain areas).
- You can travel in and out of Australia with no limitations as long as your visa is valid.
- Fees start from 90 million Rupiahs.
- If you are holding Visa 820, you are eligible to apply for Visa 801.
- The most common type of visa, used when you are visiting Australia for holiday or business purposes.
- You cannot work using this visa.
- Generally, a visitor visa will be valid for up to 3 years; however, it will depend on the embassy.
- Maximum stay for each visit is 3 months.
- Fees are around 3 million Rupiahs (will vary depending on the embassy).
- Processing time is around 1-2 months depending on the embassy.
